Verano Named "2019 Small Business of the Year" by Montgomery Ohio Chamber of Commerce

We are proud and humbled to share that Verano Marketing and Communications was named the 2019 Small Business of the Year by the Montgomery Ohio Chamber of Commerce. This is a true honor and we are so proud to be an active and supportive part of the Montgomery, Ohio, business community!

Montgomery Ohio Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Carol Gorley shared remarks about the selection of Verano Marketing and Communications as the 2019 Small Business of the Year:

The Small Business of the year represents the mission of the Chamber by promoting a positive environment through partnerships with our local businesses, residents, and City government. They continually give back to the community by showing a commitment to it and making a better place to live, work, and play. They have a commitment to good business practices and maintain excellent employee relations. They also display a solid business foundation with clear goals and future objectives for continued growth.

A note from Claire:

As owner and managing director of Verano, I am greatly honored to receive this recognition and celebrate the work and growth of Verano over the past year. This team, which includes myself as well as several outstanding associates, including Lauren Pax and Jessie Ford Coots, has been such a joy to work with.

This year was a balancing act of nurturing existing clients, growing our book of business, expanding our services, and continuing to develop our relationship with the community. In addition, I’ve been preparing to welcome our second daughter to our family. So, on a personal note, there has been a lot of excitement!

I am proud to be a part of such a great community within Montgomery, and I look forward to another successful year ahead!
