Let’s Go Verano
If you take a few minutes to explore our website, you’ll see little sprinkles and sightings of the phrase “Go Verano.” But what does this mean—and why are we using it?
Verano, by definition, means summer in Spanish (PS: it’s pronounced vur-AH-no). Its core meaning inspired the business name—we strive to deliver the "summertime version" of business. Don’t get us wrong: we take our clients and our work very seriously. But, if we’re going to work hard, get up early, stay up late, and aim for perfection—we absolutely want to have fun while we’re doing it.
So to us, “Go Verano” means being your best self. If that means you show up in jeans and comfortable shoes (100% YES), fabulous. If you want to get dressed to the nines because it makes you feel invincible, DO IT. If you like working from your couch in the middle of the night, more power to you. If you schedule your days around a workout, or a happy hour, or a glorious fruit smoothie, then schedule away!
To Go Verano means to get excited about what’s ahead of you. We know business can be hard and not every day is fun. But the big picture is bright, sunny, and has just a hint of a summer breeze running through it.

How I Go Verano: I finally (finally!) let go of finding ‘balance’ and just let my life get all mixed up. I work with friends, I network with family, I work out to business podcasts, and my husband and I parent and talk business in the same breath. Life is a hilarious jumble of everything, and balance would be a lot less interesting! -- Claire
How I Go Verano: I wake up each day with a mindset to do what feels good to me. Whether it’s jeans, a t-shirt with a heavy sweater, and my favorite Nikes with a top knot bun or three cups of coffee, I kickstart my day with a positive personal speech - “You are you, this is your day, let’s do this!” Work is a part of everything I am and do. From the gym, the grocery store, dropping my dogs at the vet, or even escaping to upstate New York for a weekend away, my work is always with me. -- Alexis
How I Go Verano: I make sure I take time for me by doing things that refuel my tank on a regular basis. I love dinner with my family (I have two daughters) and date night with my husband. I feel most positive when I go for a walk, take a Crossfit class, or catch up with girlfriends. When I need to relax I veg out with my favorite Netflix shows. And if nothing else is working, I cuddle up with my dog Lucky. -- Peggy
